Classroom Part 1

It's a Jungle Out There!

It might be a jungle in the hallway, but Zoe the Zebra is nice and cozy inside the classroom!

I have been wanting to add to my classroom for awhile and just did not know what to do!  I decided to create my own signs for the walls this year!  Cannot wait to print them and put them up!

The Kids LOVE Center Time!

No child likes homework, but it is great reinforcement! 

A schedule on the wall is a must!

Teacher Bag

Cannot wait to start using my new and re-designed 31 Organizing Utility Tote.

I love the 31 Organizing Utility Tote and I used it all year as my teacher's bag.

I do not like how my file folders and notebooks fall over in the bag.....guess I just need more in it.  lol

I found this at Office Max for about $8.00

At first, it looks like it will not fit in the bag but keep going---it will fit!

Now everything is organized and will not fall over.

Almost ready to go!

Can you believe it, I did not take a single picture besides this one!

We did enjoy swimming and wonderful food at Gma and Gpa's house!

Summer Love

Nothing is better than a HOT afternoon swim and then a golf cart ride to dry off!

Beach FUN

My brother and SIL were at the beach for the week and we went down for the day and enjoyed every minute of it...I am not much of a beach person but I have to say, "I ENJOYED IT!"

I actually told them that I would not mind going for a week next year!  We will see, get on that SIL!

All-Star Weekend

It was All-Star Weekend for this household!  Chandler enjoyed every moment of it.  They lost on Saturday and then again on Sunday.  Chandler was very upset that baseball was over.....he would have a ball and glove in his hand 24-7 is you let him.  He came home from VBS last night at 9 and picked up a ball and glove.  :-)

The mess is over!

This week has been full of leftovers and whatever you can find!  Chandler has loved the fact that he could have chicken rings from The Churn everynight before ball practice!  Here are some before and after pictures of out kitchen!  We are loving it and cannot believe how much better it looks!  Only took 6 years!  So glad the mess is over!

Amazing at how the phone stayed on the wall for 6 years, but cannot get it back up there now!  lol!

Just need some new curtains now!  Not liking the color of them with the tile!  That will come in due time!  The visual in me will have to find them on a rack somewhere!

Wow, those countertops are so clean.....

that can only mean ONE thing!

It's TILE time!

The Visual person that I am made it hard to find the right tile and grout....who knew there were so many colors of grout.  I don't remember that when we built the house.  Maybe beause the lady at Palmetto Tile just said, this grout will look great!  Different when you are doing it on your own!

After 6 years, we are finally put in a backsplash!

I cannot wait to see the final results!
