8 weeks 2 days

Cayleigh had her 2 month doctor's visit today.  She did not like the shots......the good part was she wanted to be held afterwards.

Weight 11 pounds 1 ounce.
Height  21 1/4 inches

She has gained 4 pounds in 6 weeks.....a little much the doctor says.

Fun at Monkey Joe's

What better way to spend a Friday morning then watching the joy and fun in your child's eyes.

Having fun at Monkey Joe's....Gma and I just watched Chandler run around from slide to slide.

I am way up here!

Skee Ball Time!

Chandler loves to play Air Hockey...He gets that from me!

A Day at the Treehouse (McDonalds)

Chandler, Cayleigh and I enjoyed a Tuesday lunch at the treehouse at McDonalds.  Chandler enjoys going places.  It was too cute.....I asked him if he wanted to go have lunch at McDonalds.  Mom, "can we go to the treehouse by the one where you got your car."  Oh, how he does not forget anything.  So here we are...

Chandler enjoying his nuggets and apples.

Cayleigh enjoying her nap while we eat.

Ready.....Set.....Go.....Play
Can you find Waldo...I mean Chandler....

I want some ice cream....

Chandler loves ice cream....he gets that from his daddy.  If Chandler eats a good supper than he gets his cup of ice cream at night. (Chandler does not like to eat too good so this is a way to get his to eat.)

Cayleigh saying, "I want some!"

Just wait until the day she can.  I am sure she will be like big brother and daddy.

These were taken this morning before bottle.......she was so happy go lucky.  Good nights rest.

My Nana would always point with her middle finger.  As I was cropping pictures this morning, I saw this one.....Nana is with us this morning.  I like to think it is because I was nice enough to let little man stay home today.....I need all the extra help (HAHA)  No he is really good just likes things his way.  I have a feeling today will consist of legos and trains during nap times.

Cayleigh's Christening

Cayleigh's Christening Day
You’ve been a special blessing
since the day that you arrived,
Bringing so much happiness
and filling hearts with pride...
And now that it’s your
Christening Day,
this brings a special prayer
That God will always keep
you in the shelter
of His care.
We were blessed to have family join us on this special day.

Oh, how he has grown since his christening in December 2005.  Picture below.

Dress down time.....fun at Gma and Gpa's

"Say Peanut Butter"

I take every advantage when I can when Chandler says that he will take a picture.  The sun was not being too nice to us and Cayleigh did not want to smile even with Chandler saying, "Say Peanut Butter."  Too cute!

Out with the Fusion....In with the Edge

As Chandler said today, "mommy, there is alot of room back here."  It is amazing at how much more room an SUV has compared to a car.  I do have to say that the Ford Edge seems to have more room than the Explorer did. (Yeah, had one of them before the Fusion)

Those who know me, I like to change.....

Today marks 7 weeks

Cayleigh is 7 weeks old today....where has the time gone.  It will be August before I know it and back to work.  Cayleigh is doing well and sleeping is much better.  We changed her milk this week to Similac Sensitive.  She seems to be doing better on it.  Just keeping watching her.  I got on the scales with her yesterday and she weighs about 10 pounds.  We have our 2 month check up and shots next week-so we will see her true size then.

Oh, please summer go slow.....not looking forward to the hot though.  Chandler is home today from daycare just to spend time with mommy.  Of course, he is upstairs playing with his toys......it was time this morning to take the toys off the threadmill and move them back upstairs......oh yeah, that word THREADMILL-here I come again.

I started back on my weightwatchers yesterday and actually was pretty proud of myself.  I still have 15 baby pounds to go and then lots after that.  That will be my first goal then, I will work on the rest.
Well, good bye to the Fusion.  With 2 kids in the back, it was a little close and I really could not have anyone in the front seat.  With Cayleigh's infant seat, I had to move the seat all the way up.  We ordered a Ford Edge yesterday and I am going to pick it up this afternoon.  Cannot wait for the extra room.

I don't want a Pacifier.....I want my thumb!

Cayleigh was enjoying time on the floor when I looked down at her and saw her going to town as I would say on her thumb.  I know that it is so cute at this age but I am still trying with the pacifier but she hates it.

So I moved around to the other side of her to try and get a close up.
She looks like she is saying, oh no, I got caught.

Here are some other pictures of Cayleigh smiling.  She has been more active this week with her hands.  She loves to hold her Tag Blanket that Gma made.  I wonder if she will love hers as much as her brother.

What a BIG smile!

Time to Relax in the Mountains

Chandler, Cayleigh and I spent the weekend with mom, dad, memi, and Jerry in the mountains of Maggie Valley.  It was so relaxing.  Chad was not able to be there with him just getting the business started.
Our first stop was the rest area in North Carolina-it was bottle time for Cayleigh.  Here is Chandler enjoying a snack at the rest area.
Cayleigh getting her first bottle in the mountains with Gpa.

Chandler enjoying some play time....he loves Mr. Frank's house!
On Saturday, we took a picnic down by a stream in Maggie Valley.  Chandler enjoyed watching the ducks which at first he was scared of.  He wanted Gpa to run them off.  He also enjoyed feeling the cool water in the stream.  Little Miss Cayleigh slept through the entire picnic.

Gma trying to feed the ducks.

Nothing is better than some ice cream on a rainy afternoon in the mountains.

Chandler and Cayleigh-he loves to hold her every moment mommy says okay.
