Book Character Day

Do you have a favorite character?
I have to say that I really do not have a favorite movie or book character.
Tomorrow is "Dress Like Your Favorite Book Character" at school.
These days do not leave much time for adult pleasure reading.
My reading these days consist of children's books...
BUT
I love it!

Is that a TOMATO?
Wonder what that white thing is called?
Those that really know me, know that I cannot sew and
I am not very creative unless I have a visual of something.

Jessie from Toy Story was my visual!

Picked up this cow fabric this weekend!
Already had the hat from a Cowboy themed party for Chandler's 3rd birthday!
I have to say that I did lay out the fabric and got it ready for no other than....

my wonderful mom!
Thanks mom for everthing!

So we forgot to take picture throughout...
I did end up using that white thing above called a sewing machine.
I sewed the edges, yeah me!
I also sewed the yellow on the shirt sleeves.

I cannot forget about the beading on the shirt also!

I must say thank you to my mom for helping me to get my Dress Like A Character Outfit ready!

Stay turned for the finished project all together!

EKW and CAL

Cayleigh and I had the wonderful priviledge to spend the weekend over at Gma and Gpa's from time to time and enjoy Emma Kate.
Mom and dad had both of them on Friday (all day long).
I think it was pretty much like having twins (remember they are only 5 days apart)
Cayleigh and I headed over to mom and dad's early Saturday morning.
Chad and Chandler headed to watch my nephew Tyler play baseball!

How many times does it take to get a picture!

of both of them looking at the camera!

Cayleigh being silly-eating of course!
We are ready to cheer on them Clemson Tigers!
By the way, we beat Boston College!

Oh wait, Emma Kate eating also!

Playing blocks outside-it was such a beautiful day!
Gma enjoying both girls!
Actually, they were a little jealous so if mom or dad had one, they better watch out, here comes the other!
It was too cute!
Aunt Rie getting some love!

I wanted the girls to turn around so I could get a cute picture with Gma's fall decorations.
They had other things in mind!

Just love this picture!

Wonder what is in this pumpkin!
take notice-they each had to look

Okay, jealous again so Gma had to find another pumpkin!
It was too funny, they each wanted what the other had!

She looks so innocent!

Just love spending time with this sweet baby!

Thanks Aunt Emi and Uncle Mike Mike for taking a weekend to go see the Tigers play!
We enjoyed every minute!

She's cooking!

Cayleigh playing with her Chandler's kitchen!
The kitchen has found a new home.
It no longer sits in the corner collecting dust in the playroom but in our kitchen!
She loves to cook while I am cooking!

So short ... but she makes do!

After playing, Cayleigh had to go "pee pee" as she says.
I put her on the potty and go check on supper.
When I turn around this is what I find!

Oh, how fun!!

It's Spirit Night

It's School Spirit Night at ...

What is better than a ...

Chicken sandwich, waffle fries, and a coke

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Spending the night with 2 of my favorite people!

Chick-fil-a will give 30% of ticket sales to schools.
We had a blast talking to parents, students and anyone who came into Chick-fil-a to eat.

Chandler of course did not eat, he enjoyed the playground with the other kids!

What a better way to help with education....we enjoyed our Spirit Night!

Happy 6th Birthday!

Happy Birthday to Our Little Miracle!  Well, not Little anymore!
We are so thankful everyday for you!
Transformer was the theme!
Not the best looking but thanks mom for cooking the cake!
I just could not think of how to decorate it-but he was happy and that is all that mattered!

Cayleigh loves to eat!

Waiting patiently for cake and ice cream!
Let's practice our body parts!

Gifts, gifts, and more gifts!

Mommy loves the new clothes...
Chandler just walks away!

What a great night!

Happy 6th birthday Chandler!
We love you
