Outside play in January

What a pretty day outside to play!

This is Chandler's first year playing baseball on a team.

They turned out pretty good! Chandler helped put pretzels on the first 5 or so and the attention span was gone. He was off to play!

He really kept asking the entire time, momma, can I eat some icing!
He is his daddy's child!

100th day of school

Time to celebrate the 100th Day of School..

wow where has the year gone!

Chandler's class is celebrating the 100th day on Thursday!

Of course being the mom that I am,

I wanted to send some type of treats.

I thought about counting out 100 different items and sending them, but that would take way too long.

As I was walking the aisles in the grocery store, my mind was thinking...

cupcakes

make a cake and cut it in the shape of 100

make cookies and use icing to write out 100

well, I decided on...

Chocolate Pretzels

Pretzels

Rice Krispie Treats

Frosting

Here is my creation...

I think it looks pretty good and it was simple....

come join me tomorrow night as I make 22 for his entire class!

I cannot wait!

I hope the little ones enjoy them.

A thought to myself-I would if I should add sprinkles before I put the pretzels on top!

Utility Room Organization-Step 2

Step 1 was getting myself more organized to head out the door every morning.

ON TO STEP 2

Step 2 of trying to be organized for the year!

My utility room has always been a mess since we built our house.

Clothes would stay folded or unfolded on the counter top.

I have alreadys wanted to organize it some how!

After blog watching several mudrooms and utility rooms, I really liked this one from

Monkey See-Monkey Do

but that was not possible at this time....

So mom and I were in Lowes after the holidays and this rack caught my eye.

Add a few clothes baskets....

and some personalization.

Clothes folded and ready to be put up.

Hanging Clothes ready to head to closets and be hung...

A basket full of socks.....maybe my washer and dryer will stop eating them one day!

Jackets and Shoes have a better home.

Kids Jackets have a HOME where they can help.

It works for us and I love it....

Note to self....cabinets on the wall in a couple of years!

Date Night with Little Man

Chandler and I had our first of many date nights.

Stop 1: Longhorns

Longhorns is his favorite place to eat. He actually just loves to go there to see the bulls on the wall.

Also had a grilled cheese and fries!

Stop 2: Monster Jam

I was caller 5 on WORG! Wow, I never win anything and won 2 tickets.

Chandler had never been. He is not much for loud noises

but...

We had our earphones ready to go!

It's over...

Chandler did not mind the noise but he did not like trucks when they went VERTICAL!

We lasted all of 10 minutes with the Monster Trucks!

Thanks WORG-glad I did not have to pay for and hour of 4 wheeler entertainment and 10 minutes of Monsters.

Cayleigh on the other hand had fun playing with Gma and Gpa.

I was glad to see her when we got back.
